Anglia Region Trefoil House Party 2008
The Anglia Region Trefoil house party was held at Netherurd:
We had a great time and were entertained by a Scottish piper on our first evening when we experienced the ceremony of the Haggis.
During our activity day at Netherurd we had a go at archery, canoeing, playing croquet on the lawn and riding the zip wire over the lake. While completing this activity two of our members did the first adult tandem jump that had been done at Netherurd (pictured right).
On our days out we visited the Rennie Mackintosh House and the Burrell Collection in Glasgow and the newly restored New Lanark Cotton Mill Village.
One evening we held a mini Olympics when Elizabeth Ferrier came to see us and joined in the merriment and on the last evening we held a Scottish Ceilidh. 
We returned back home with fond memories of our visit to the Scottish Borders and began looking forward to our visit to Broneirion next year.
