Rangers Festival 2021
Date: June 25th 17:00 - June 27th 11:00
Venue: Hautbois Activity Centre, 5 Great Hautbois Rd, Coltishall, Norwich NR12 7JN
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation and the exams now being moved we are looking at rescheduling the festival from June 2021.
We will endeavour to put on an event for Rangers in 2021.
If you have already booked you will be contacted separately with how to proceed with your original booking
We’re excited to announce that the Rangers Festival 2020 has been rearranged for 2021! With more activities and a price subsidised by region, we’re hoping even more Rangers and young leaders can come along, make new friends, try new things, and explore all that Girlguiding Anglia has to offer.
The programme team are busy working on a full weekend of activities. We’ve already signed up to paddle boarding, canoeing, zip wire and crate stacking at Hautbois.
The programme falls into four themes of:
- Your Future
There will be music, mocktails and memories to make. Plus campfires, craft, and competitions. The team are really excited to welcome you to RF 2021. Programme teasers will be released as they’re confirmed on our social media pages (Facebook, Instagram and Twitter).
Rangers and young leaders (With or without their leaders. You do not need a Going Away With licence to attend.)
The 18-30’s section will be involved in supporting this event. Please keep an eye on the 18-30s Facebook page for more updates.
Please make your own transport arrangements. We recommend booking train tickets as early as possible to reduce your travel costs. There will be a shuttle bus available from Wroxham train station; please email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information. Should you be travelling by car, free car-parking will be available onsite.
Tents will be provided for all attendees in order to support the use of public transport and reduce our carbon footprint. We hope that this means more Rangers are able to attend. Look out for more details on a tent decorating competition.
Now £60! (Reduced from £75 thanks to support from region.)
All meals and activities are included in the price.
If you are attending as a unit, please have the lead adult who will be attending the event make a booking for the whole unit.
If you are attending as an individual, please book your own ticket.
Please make sure you have read our booking terms and conditions before booking a ticket. If you are under 18, please make sure your parent/guardian/leader books your ticket naming you as the attendee. There are two types of ticket; Ranger/young leader and leader (for those attending the event with their unit).
Concerned about cost?
Remember, you can always apply for grants such as the Reach Out Grant and the Leslie Sell Trust. You can also do some local fundraising in your unit.
