Girlguiding Anglia is a volunteer-led organisation, with all employees working in partnership with our members for the benefit of girls, young women and volunteers. The policy and decisions regarding the region are overseen by trustees, who are all volunteers, and the executive manager, who is a paid member of staff. The project coordinator’s role will primarily focus on supporting key projects led by the organisation’s adventure and opportunities team.
Working closely with a professional and skilled staff team to support the needs of our volunteer delivered organisation. Ensuring our membership offer is delivered in line with project objectives, budgets and timelines. The role plays a pivotal part in ensuring we show our young members that all girls can do anything.

Voluntary positions within the Anglia region are an excellent way to influence the strategy and focus of Girlguiding within our counties. Positions are open to active members. We are looking to set up 2 new project teams for upcoming large scale region events:
Brownies 2026
Would you like to be involved in the team that develops and delivers the next big region Brownie event? Do you have event planning skills? Finance and budgeting knowledge? A passion for programme or are you confident with marketing and communications? There are lots of roles involved within the team and we’re keen to hear from you if you could play a part.
Anglia 2027
The region chief’s team want to host a region camp in 2027. Could you bring experiences and skills to help support the event project team. Led by Anglia’s outdoor and opportunities volunteer team leader, Carolyn Hare, this team will take on the challenge of delivering a large scale region camp. The team will require administration support, programme knowledge, marketing and communication skills as well as experience of budgeting, amongst other things. If this sounds like something you’d love to be a part of then please get in touch.

Successful applicants will be invited to an online interview and references will be sort from a local commissioner.
