The Anne Dunford international grant is a scholarship-style fund designed to support young members in Girlguiding Anglia who are taking part in international opportunities within Girlguiding.
The Girlguiding Anglia Anne Dunford international grant is available for young members who would be unable to attend an international trip without financial assistance. Applicants may apply for up to 90% of the total cost of their international opportunity, including event fees and certain essential additional costs.
Applications will be considered for a range of international-related expenses, including:
- Event or trip fees
- Required specialist clothing
- Accessibility related costs needed to enable participation
Please note:
- The grant is open to young members in all sections.
- Applications may be submitted by a parent or carer or unit leader.
- The grant may be awarded once per section (e.g. once in Brownies, once in Guides).
- Applications can be made before selection, but payment will only be made if the young member is selected for the trip.
- Successful applicants must submit a short report to the Girlguiding Anglia region executive committee after the event.
