Voluntary positions within the Anglia region are an excellent way to be able to influence the strategy and focus of Girlguiding within our 12 counties. Positions are open to active members as we want the voices of our young members and their leaders to influence and direct the charity in supporting our 72,000 members. A finance committee member with existing region appointment

Voluntary position

We are looking for a Girlguiding Anglia member, aged over 18, who is comfortable with numbers and has some experience in dealing with finance.

We welcome applications from those with a professional finance background and those with only guiding experience who wish to develop their financial skills further. This allows us to bring a diversity of skill and thought to all our committees.  For more information and to apply please click here

We are looking for a Girlguiding Anglia member, who must be aged 18 and above, and has voluntary or professional experience in at least one of the following; experience of working in the outdoor activity sector, human resources, education, property management or event management.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer focused individual who can support the team to get things done and enjoy getting involved.

What you will need to succeed:

  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills an advantage
  • Being open to feedback and communicating with your team and managers in a clear and straightforward way

  • A desire to learn and improve your knowledge/skills
