Voluntary Positions

Voluntary positions within the Anglia region are an excellent way to be able to influence the strategy and focus of Girlguiding within our 12 counties. Positions are open to active members as we want the voices of our young members and their leaders to influence and direct the charity in supporting our members. For more information or to discuss these opportunities further please download the relevant information packs or contact vacancies@girlguiding-anglia.org.uk.

Region video library task and finish group

Voluntary position – closing date 9am Monday 6 July 2020

Anglia region from March 2020 has already increased the resources available to support leaders with remote or virtual guiding activities including template newsletters and virtual challenges. However, several suggestions have been received requesting that more videos be created to show how to do activities so that the leaders can show young members, either during live virtual meetings or via links in e-mails or Facebook groups etc.

By becoming part of this task and finish group, you will have the opportunity to use your skills to support a key region-wide project. You will have the opportunity to work with others, learn new skills and demonstrate you can work to agreed deadlines delivering a project that will support leaders to deliver great guiding experiences to members of all ages across the entire region.
