The escapades grant is designed to help young members in Girlguiding Anglia take part in guiding activities that they may not otherwise be able to access without financial support.
The Girlguiding Anglia escapades grant is available for young members who require assistance to join a specific recognised Girlguiding activity or event within the Girlguiding Anglia region. Leaders may apply for up to 40% of the total cost for the activity.
Applications will be considered for the following types of guiding experiences:
- Unit meeting activities
- Day trips
- Residentials
- Other approved guiding adventures within the Girlguiding Anglia region
Please note:
- Only one application per young member may be made in any 12‑month period.
- All applications are reviewed individually by the region grants panel and funding is not guaranteed.
- The activity must be a recognised Girlguiding event or activity.
This application form must be completed by the unit leader only.
