The Unit Support Fund
At Girlguiding Anglia, we believe that every girl should have the chance to grow in confidence, try new things, and be part of a supportive community, no matter her circumstances.
The Unit Support Fund is here to help make that possible.
What is the Unit Support Fund?
This grant exists to:
Increase numbers of girls from poorer socio-economic backgrounds who can access guiding
Enable existing young members to continue to benefit from Girlguiding
Expand our provision in deprived areas where we have no presence
Enable units that are struggling financially to keep operating
It can be used for anything which will help with any of the above, including but not limited to covering 2026 subscription fees, contributing to the cost of hall rent or subsidising the cost of uniform. The maximum grant amount is £300.

We aim to respond promptly and keep the process supportive and straightforward.
