Caitlin – GAP representative for Cambridgeshire East
I am currently a young leader but I’ve been in guides since I was 10. I decided to join GAP because Girlguiding has given me so much in terms of support and opportunities and has played a part in shaping who I am today. I want to help make other girls feel this way and feel empowered. I am autistic and so for me, it is really important that other girls with disabilities, many of which are hidden, are welcomed and made to feel supported and that they can be themselves, which might come in the form of making adjustments or educating more people about hidden disabilities.
