Commissioner induction training

These are aimed at commissioners in Girlguiding Anglia that have been in the role for less than 6 months. Sessions will cover a range of topics over two training sessions.

You can book any sessions, you don’t need to do them in order. Full details can be found on the corresponding Eventbrite pages.

Dates:

• The next sessions are still being decided but session 1 will be in May 2024 and session 2 will be in June 2024 starting at 7:30pm. Bookings will be open on Eventbrite when the dates are confirmed.

• Where to find help and support
• Finance
• RENs
• Meetings
• Communication
• Networking opportunity to meet air and share

Session 2 will cover:

• GO
• Unit visits and Doing our Best
• Growth & Retention
• Complaints and Difficult Behaviour
• Properties and/or land
• Awards and Recognition
• Networking opportunity to meet air and share
