I became a Brownie at seven, and I loved the variety and fun I had. I never once questioned that I would not progress to Guides and Rangers.

I became a leader as I wanted to give back to the organisation that gave me so many opportunities, and I run my Guide unit to enable the young girls to grow in confidence and learn independence and respect for each other.

Never did I imagine I would become a county commissioner, I didn’t think I had enough experience or knowledge!!!…..it is amazing where you find it from, and I am loving the role, and feel honoured to head my county.

I am all about having fun and laughter. If you can’t do that, what’s the point.
