I have been working for Girlguiding Anglia for 8 years, previously having worked in banking. My job is to process transactions to the charity’s accounts, including the settling of invoices and the receipt of payments, ensuring they have been recorded in an accurate and timely manner.

I enjoy the reconciliation aspect of working with figures and have been likened to a terrier, in that once I get started on something I won’t stop digging until I have found the solution.  In my role, I get to liaise with some of our lovely volunteers and am also fortunate to work with caring, thoughtful and hardworking colleagues in the office.

Working in such a wonderful location is an added bonus!

Outside of work, my number one pastime is to spend time with my gorgeous grandchildren. I love to walk, the Lake District is a favourite destination and of course the beautiful Norfolk coastline. I also enjoy pottering in the garden and reading.
