When we do the best we can, we never know what miracle is wrought in our life, or in the life of another – Helen Keller

I joined Girlguiding Anglia in January 2018 with my first priority being to integrate the teams responsible for marketing and communications, administration and events, membership support and growth and retention in to one collaborative and mutually supportive team. This has enabled us to offer better support and advice to our young members, volunteers, peers and partners.
The region office has seen a huge journey of change and development in the last 12 months, it’s been an amazing experience to be part of and I’m excited to see our journey continue together.
I hold a privileged position as I get to contribute to many areas of our region delivery, it’s inspiring to work alongside our girls and young women and to see how our amazing volunteers deliver guiding in their local areas.

I volunteer outside of work as a governor at a local primary school, it’s a great feeling to give back to the local community. I have two daughters, one already enjoying guiding as I did as a girl and the other excited to start.
A busy home and work life makes it difficult to have too many hobbies but I like to ring fence time to attend Kickboxercise classes as a way to relax. I also enjoy finding time to have a ‘date night’ with my husband and love to go on adventures with my family.

I would describe myself in 3 words as kind, supportive and stubborn.

My colleagues describe me in 3 words as determined, enthusiastic and persuasive.
