Tracy Foster is Chief Commissioner for Girlguiding Anglia, meaning she is the senior lead volunteer. Tracy works closely with other lead volunteers from the 12 counties that make up our region, our region CEO and key personnel from our region staff team.
Tracy has been involved in guiding since the age of 7, as a Brownie and is passionate about empowering and inspiring all of our members. Tracy has held various roles since becoming an adult leader including a commissioner at the varying levels, adviser for Brownie residentials, adviser for membership systems and is also a trainer. Tracy is part of a leadership team for a local guide unit in the Peterborough area and continues to organise opportunities for this age group. She enjoys the fun and friendship guiding has to offer and finds the new challenges and adventures that can be experienced are a large part of her life.
Tracy became Region Chief Commissioner in March 2018 and is looking ahead to exciting developments including embedding the recent change to our programme and developing our strategy for 2020 and beyond. Her initial plans are to develop a region youth participation strategy and continue to build upon the firm foundations of our region.
